How to Zoom In on Outlook
This guide will walk you through the steps to zoom in on your emails in Microsoft Outlook. Zooming in can make the text larger and easier to read.
Open Microsoft Outlook – Launch the Outlook app on your Windows or Mac system.
Open an Email or Window – Zoom settings apply inside the reading pane, compose window, or calendar view.
Use Ctrl + Scroll –
Hold Ctrl key on your keyboard
Scroll your mouse wheel up to zoom in
Use the Zoom Slider (Bottom Right) –
In email or calendar view, go to the bottom-right corner
Move the slider to the right to zoom in
Manual Zoom (Compose Email) –
Click “Format Text” tab while composing a new email
Click “Zoom” and select a zoom percentage like 125% or 150%
Keyboard Shortcut –
Press Ctrl + Plus (+) to zoom in quickly (works in many parts of Outlook)
Change Default Zoom (for Emails) –
Outlook doesn’t allow a global default zoom for reading, but in compose window, the zoom setting can stay per session
Done – Text and content will now appear larger and easier to read.
