How to Zoom Out in Outlook

Open Outlook App – Launch Microsoft Outlook on your desktop or laptop.
Open an Email or Window – Zoom settings usually apply to the reading pane, compose window, or calendar.
Use Ctrl + Scroll –
Hold down the Ctrl key
Scroll down with your mouse wheel to zoom out
Use Zoom Slider (Bottom Right) –
In mail reading or composing window, find the zoom slider at the bottom-right corner
Drag it to the left to zoom out
Manual Zoom Setting (Compose Window) –
In a new message, go to Format Text tab
Click Zoom, then choose a smaller percentage like 75% or 100%
Use Shortcut Keys –
Press Ctrl + Minus (-) to zoom out in many Outlook panes
Set Default Zoom (Optional) –
Outlook doesn’t have native default zoom for reading pane, but for compose, you can adjust it via the Zoom setting each time.
