Learn how to efficiently delete rows in Google Sheets for better data management. Follow these simple steps to remove unwanted information quickly.

  1. Open your Google Sheets document and locate the row you wish to delete.

  2. Click on the row number on the left side of the screen to select the entire row.

  3. Right-click on the selected row number and choose "Delete row" from the context menu.

  4. The row will be permanently removed, and any data in that row will be deleted.

  5. If you need to delete multiple rows, select more than one row by clicking and dragging over the row numbers. Then, right-click and choose "Delete rows X-Y" to delete the selected rows.

  6. To undo the deletion, click the "Undo" button at the top or press Ctrl + Z (Windows) or Cmd + Z (Mac).
