How to Sort Numbers
in Google Sheets
Open your Google Sheets document and highlight the range of cells containing the numbers you want to sort.
Click on the "Data" menu at the top and select either "Sort sheet A-Z" or "Sort sheet Z-A" for ascending or descending order, respectively.
If you want to sort a specific range rather than the entire sheet, choose "Sort range" from the "Data" menu.
In the "Sort range" dialog box, select the column you want to sort by and choose whether to sort it in ascending or descending order.
Click "Sort" to apply the sorting.
The numbers in the selected range will be sorted according to your chosen order. If you want to undo the sort, click the "Undo" button or press
Ctrl + Z
(Windows) orCmd + Z
(Mac).
