How to Share PowerPoint on Zoom
This guide will walk you through the steps to successfully share a PowerPoint presentation in a Zoom meeting. Follow these simple instructions to ensure your presentation is displayed correctly to all participants.
Open both applications - Launch both Zoom and PowerPoint on your computer, with your presentation file already open and ready.
Join or start a meeting - Enter your Zoom meeting where you want to present the PowerPoint slides.
Click "Share Screen" - Find and select the green "Share Screen" button in the meeting controls at the bottom of your Zoom window.
Select your PowerPoint - In the sharing options window, choose the PowerPoint window that displays your presentation (not just the application icon).
Choose presentation mode - Once sharing begins, switch to PowerPoint's Slide Show mode by clicking "Slide Show" in PowerPoint's ribbon and selecting "From Beginning" or "From Current Slide."
Control your slides - Use arrow keys, page up/down, or your mouse to navigate through your presentation while sharing.
End screen sharing - When finished, click the red "Stop Share" button at the top of your screen to return to the normal Zoom meeting view.
