How to Remove Page Breaks

Remove page breaks in Google Docs to fix formatting issues, ensuring your document flows seamlessly without unnecessary blank pages. Learn how to quickly delete page breaks and adjust content spacing.
Open Google Docs – Visit docs.google.com and open the document that contains the page break you want to delete.
Scroll to the Page Break – Move through your document to locate the blank space or gap where the page break is added.
Click Just Above the Break – Place your cursor on the line just above the page break.
Press Delete or Backspace –
On Windows, press the Delete key.
On Mac, press the Backspace key.
This should remove the manual page break instantly.
Check If It’s Removed – The content that was pushed to the next page should now shift up, and the gap will disappear.
Use Show Formatting (Optional) –
Click on “View” > “Show non-printing characters” using Google Docs add-ons or extensions if you want to visibly identify breaks (optional tool-based step).
Repeat If Needed – If your document has multiple page breaks, repeat the same steps to remove each one.
