How to Download an Image
From Google Docs
Want to download an image from your Google Docs document? This guide will show you how to save images separately by either dragging them out or using the Google Keep integration for easy access.
Open Your Document – Go to docs.google.com and open the document that contains the image you want to download.
Right-Click Doesn’t Work – If you try to right-click the image directly, you’ll notice there’s no “Save image as…” option like in browsers. So you’ll need a workaround.
Use “Publish to the Web” Method –
Click on File > Share > Publish to web
Choose “Entire Document”, then click “Publish” and confirm
Open the Published Link – A public version of your document will open in a new tab. Find the image in that version.
Right-Click the Image Now – In the published view, right-click on the image and now you’ll see the option to “Save image as…”
Save to Your Computer – Choose your destination folder and save the image in your desired format (usually JPG or PNG).
Unpublish If Needed –
Go back to your Google Doc
Click File > Share > Publish to web > Stop publishing (for privacy and control)
Done – Your image is now downloaded and saved on your device. You can use it anywhere you like.
