Google Docs
Learn how to delete a page in Google Docs by removing unwanted blank spaces or adjusting formatting, ensuring your document looks clean and professional. Follow simple steps to remove page breaks or sections for a seamless layout.
Open Google Docs – Go to docs.google.com and open the document where you want to delete a page.
Scroll to the Unwanted Page – Navigate to the page you want to remove.
Select the Extra Content or Blank Space –
Click and drag to select all the text, spaces, or line breaks on that page
Or press Ctrl + A to select everything, then delete the unwanted parts
Press Backspace or Delete –
Hit Backspace (Windows) or Delete (Mac) to remove the selected content
If it’s a blank page, just delete extra line breaks
Check Page Breaks –
Click View > Show Print Layout
If there’s a page break, click just before it and press Delete
Adjust Margins (If Needed) –
Go to File > Page Setup
Reduce bottom margin if it’s forcing content to a new page
Check for Section Breaks –
Click on Format > Line & Paragraph Spacing > Custom Spacing
Remove extra spacing if found
Done – The page will be deleted and the remaining content will shift up automatically.
