How to Create a Poll in Slack
Open the Slack channel or direct message where you want to create the poll.
Type the question or topic for your poll in the message input field.
Below the question, list the possible options you want to present for the poll, and for each option, add an emoji as a reaction to represent the choice. You can use emojis like thumbs up 👍, thumbs down 👎, or any other relevant emoji for each option.
Once the options are listed with corresponding emojis, press "Enter" to send the message.
After sending the message, users can vote by reacting to the message with the emoji that corresponds to their choice.
For example, if your poll asks, "What day works best for the meeting?" with options like "Monday" 🗓️, "Wednesday" 📅, and "Friday" 📅, people can react to the message with their preferred emoji.
You can monitor the votes by viewing the emoji reactions and counting the number of reactions for each emoji.
