How to Use Figma
Follow these steps to use figma and create a rectangle in Figma and export it. This guide will walk you through each step of the process, from creating the rectangle to adding effects and exporting the final design.
Sign Up or Log In – Go to figma.com, create a free account or log in if you already have one.
Create a New File – From the Figma dashboard, click on “New Design File” to start designing.
Understand the Interface – Get familiar with the Layers panel (left), Toolbar (top), Canvas (center), and Properties panel (right).
Start Drawing – Use tools like Frame (F), Rectangle (R), Text (T), and Pen (P) to create your design.
Add Styles – Apply colors, gradients, strokes, shadows, and effects using the right-hand panel.
Use Components – Turn repeated elements into components for easy reuse. Use
Ctrl + Alt + K
(Windows) orCmd + Option + K
(Mac).Collaborate in Real-Time – Share your file link with teammates and work together live in the same design.
Preview & Prototype – Use the Prototype tab to link screens and create interactive flows. Press Play to preview.
Export Assets – Select elements, click Export, and choose your desired format (PNG, JPG, SVG, etc.).
