Learn how to easily change fonts in Google Docs to enhance the appearance of your documents. Customize your text with a wide variety of font options available within the platform.

  1. Open your Google Docs document.

  2. Highlight the text you want to change the font of.

  3. In the toolbar at the top, locate the font dropdown menu, which typically shows the current font name.

  4. Click on the dropdown arrow, and scroll through the list of available fonts.

  5. Select the font that you want to use. The highlighted text will immediately change to the new font.

  6. You can also click "More fonts" at the top of the font list to open the full font library and add additional fonts for use.
