  1. Open your Google Docs document.

  2. Click on the image you want to center to select it.

  3. Once selected, a small menu will appear below the image with alignment options.

  4. In the toolbar above, click the "Center align" button, which looks like several lines stacked in the center of the toolbar.

  5. The image will immediately shift to the center of the page or text block.

  6. Alternatively, right-click the image, choose "Image options," and in the sidebar, select "Text Wrapping" and choose "Wrap text" or "Break text" as desired to fine-tune the image's alignment.
