How To Add Line Of Best Fit
In Google Sheets
Select your scatter plot in Google Sheets.
Click on the three-dot menu in the chart’s top-right corner.
Choose Edit chart to open the Chart Editor.
Go to the Customize tab and expand the Series section.
Check the box for Trendline to add a line of best fit.
Choose the type (Linear, Exponential, etc.) and customize its color or thickness.
Optionally, display the R² value to measure the trendline’s accuracy.
