Easily add cells to your Google Sheets by inserting rows or columns. Customize your sheet layout to fit your data needs.

  1. Open your Google Sheets document and go to the sheet where you want to add new cells.

  2. Click on a cell where you want to insert new cells or select multiple cells if you need to insert a group of them.

  3. Right-click on the selected cell(s) and choose "Insert cells" from the context menu.

  4. A popup will appear asking whether you want to shift existing cells down or right. Select your preferred option and click "OK."

  5. The new blank cells will appear, shifting the existing data accordingly. If you need to add multiple cells, repeat the process as needed.

  6. You can also use the "Insert" menu at the top and select "Row above," "Row below," "Column left," or "Column right" to insert additional cells
