How to Remove Background from
a Picture in Canva for Free

Open your Canva project and upload the image you want to edit.

Click on the image to select it and navigate to the “Edit Image” option in the top toolbar.

Locate and click the “Background Remover” tool under editing effects (available with Canva Pro; free users can use third-party tools).

The background will automatically be removed; adjust the selection manually if necessary using the erase and restore brushes.

Save the image with the transparent background and reinsert it into your design as needed.
