  1. Click on a blank cell where you want the multiplication result to appear.

  2. Type = to begin a formula, followed by the first cell reference, then *, and then the second cell reference.

  3. For example, if multiplying A2 by B2, type =A2*B2.

  4. Press Enter, and the product of the two numbers will appear in the selected cell.

  5. To apply the formula to multiple rows, click on the bottom-right corner of the result cell and drag it down to autofill.

  6. You can also use =PRODUCT(A2:A10) if multiplying multiple values within a single range.
