How to Delete Tasks in Asana

Open the project or My Tasks view and locate the task you want to delete.

Click on the task to open its details pane on the right side of the screen.

In the task details, click on the three-dot menu (ellipsis) located at the top-right corner.

Select the “Delete Task” option from the dropdown menu to remove the task.

Confirm the deletion in the pop-up dialog box, as deleted tasks cannot be recovered once removed.

Alternatively, press the “Tab” + “Backspace” keys as a shortcut to delete a task directly.
