How to Create a Table
in Google Sheets
Open your Google Sheets document and enter the data you want to structure in a table format, ensuring each column has a clear header.
Select the entire data range, including column headers, by clicking and dragging over the cells.
Click on the "Format" menu at the top and select "Alternating colors" to apply a table-like design with alternating row colors for better readability.
To make it a dynamic table, go to the "Data" menu and select "Create a filter." This will add filter dropdowns to each column header.
You can now use the filter options to sort or search within columns, making the table more interactive.
If needed, go to the "View" menu and enable "Gridlines" to visually define the table structure.
