  1. Open your Google Docs document.

  2. Highlight the text you want to adjust the spacing for.

  3. Click on the "Format" menu at the top of the screen.

  4. Hover over "Line spacing" to see the available options: "Single," "1.15," "1.5," "Double," or "Custom spacing."

  5. Select the desired spacing option.

  6. For custom spacing, choose "Custom spacing" and enter the specific values for line and paragraph spacing in the dialog box that appears.
