Adjust layers in Google Slides by sending elements forward or backward. Organize objects for a clean layout.

  1. Open your Google Slides presentation and select the object you want to move.

  2. Right-click on the object and select "Order".

  3. Click "Bring to front" to move the object to the top layer.

  4. Click "Bring forward" to move the object one layer up.

  5. Click "Send backward" to move the object one layer down.

  6. Click "Send to back" to move the object to the bottom layer.

  7. Use shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Up Arrow (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Up Arrow (Mac) to bring forward.

  8. Use shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Down Arrow (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Down Arrow (Mac) to send backward.

  9. Repeat the steps as needed to adjust the layering.
