Open your Google Slides presentation.

Select the text box you want to add a shadow to.

Click on "Format options" in the toolbar.

Expand the "Drop shadow" section.

Check the box to enable the shadow effect.

Adjust the transparency, blur, angle, and distance as needed.

Close the panel once satisfied with the effect.
