Add borders in Google Slides to text boxes, shapes, and images for a polished look. Customize border color, thickness, and style.

  1. Open your Google Slides presentation and select the text box, image, or shape you want to add a border to.

  2. Click on the "Border color" icon in the toolbar (a pencil symbol).

  3. Choose a color from the palette to apply the border.

  4. Click on the "Border weight" icon (three stacked lines) to adjust the thickness of the border.

  5. Click on the "Border dash" icon to change the style (solid, dashed, or dotted).

  6. If adding a border to a slide, insert a rectangle shape, resize it to fit the slide, and set its border color and weight.
