How to Add Footnotes
in Google Docs
Open your Google Docs document and place your cursor where you want to insert the footnote.
Click on the "Insert" menu at the top, then select "Footnote" from the dropdown.
A small number will appear at the cursor location, and the footnote text area will appear at the bottom of the page.
Type your footnote content in the designated area.
To add additional footnotes, repeat the process at the desired locations in the document.
Google Docs will automatically number the footnotes in sequential order.
